- What's Included
- Windows can sometimes be the easiest point of entry for burglars and vandals. Now you can stop intruders in their tracks with ELK Products' ELK-6040 Two-Way Wireless Glass Break Sensor. Using Pattern Recognition Technology™, the sensor uses a built in omni-directional microphone with a 360° detection range to listen for glass ruptures in windows, doors, gates, and more. The factory set recognition patterns make it possible to detect the difference between breaking glass of framed perimeter windows in a building vs. a drinking glass breaking within a room to prevent false alarms. This sensor is both powerful and discreet, able to detect glass breaking within a range of 20 feet. Have treated glass? Not to worry. This sensor picks up on disturbances in plate, tempered, wired, and laminated glass panels. Designed for integration and use with ELK's two-way wireless product line consisting of the ELK-M1XRFTW Transceiver and the ELK-M1 Control, the sensor transmits signals, re-sending if acknowledgement is not received. Plus, the system includes LED operation signals and a long-lasting battery for a hassle-free, wireless installation.
