Worried about pipes freezing? The WaterCop low temperature sensor works with the WaterCop Wireless Leak Detection System (sold separately) by monitoring the temperature. When the temperature dips below 38°F, the WaterCop low temperature will alert the WaterCop to shut off the water to the home, preventing continuous flow should a pipe burst. Although this system won't prevent a pipe from freezing, it can help reduce extensive flooding when it does.
Prevent uncontrolled water and freezing pipes from damaging your home and belongings with the WaterCop, a wireless leak detection system that automatically shuts off your main water line when it senses a leak from your home's water appliances or plumbing fixtures.
The main system consists of a WaterCop electronic shut-off valve and three wireless, battery-operated WaterCop low temperature probes. The shut-off valve installs on your home's main water line between the existing shut-off valve and the location where the plumbing main begins to branch off to water appliances, like washing machines, water heaters or dishwashers. The main unit plugs into any standard 3-prong power outlet with its 8-ft. extension cord and features green and red LEDs indicating if the water flow is open or closed.
A WaterCop system is available for 1/2-inch pipes, 3/4-inch pipes, 1-inch pipes or 1 1/4-inch pipes. The system includes the electric shut-off valve and 3 WaterCop low temperature sensors.
DynaQuip Controls Product No.: FH100 Compatibility: Use with any of the WaterCop Systems (sold separately) Weight: 0.5 lbs.
