Review of 33570
The unit seems to perform as I expected. The documentation is really poor but then there is not much to explain.
I think Marking of the IR input and Audio inputs would of been nice but you can figure it out.
The Unit uses an external IR Receiver so the control module can be hidden or connected to an IR distribution system like I did when I installed it.
The Microphone that is inside the unit is sensitive, with music at Moderate to loud levels the music mode is maxed out.
The external audio input is not sensitive enough to be driven by the record out on a stereo. The user manual warns to not connect it to am amplifiers speaker output doing so will damage the unit. I am driving mine from a secondary line out on my Mackie audio board so Im guessing the Line Level is somewhere around +4 and it seems to work OK and I can very the drive to get different effects.
I will definitely need more light bars as the two I bough to begin with are not going to do the job like I want them to do.
