- What's Included
The BNC Component/Composite Video Baluns are used with video equipment as well as CCTV security and surveillance equipment, such as cameras, monitors, DVRs, video sequencers, multiplexers, quads, switchers, camera servers and VCRs. Used in pairs, the BNC Component/Composite Video Baluns transmit standard NTSC, PAL or SECAM composite video.
Because they contain isolation transformers and utilize twisted cabling, baluns eliminate the ground loops that cause background hum and rolling interference. Baluns also extend transmission distances, passively transmitting audio and video signals up to 2500 feet. In addition to these BNC Component/Composite Video Baluns, a wide variety of audio and video baluns is available and sold separately.
