  • The Wireless Window/Door Sensor is a wireless magnetic contact and powered by a solar cell and works absolutely maintenance-free. It sends a wireless signal to an AD HOC receiver (plug-in dimmer, relay or low voltage relay) when the contact is broken. Ideally, this is used to trigger a light to turn on using a low voltage relay receiver you can trigger and number of devices to be activated through a security system or other home system. Using the integrated Reed contact, the module monitors the position of the laterally mounted magnet and informs about changes of the status. The reed contact housing and the magnet housing are very small. This means that the EnOcean magnet contact is unobtrusively mountable at every window or door frame made of aluminum, plastic or wood. An integrated energy store allows unrestricted functionality for several days in total darkness. In addition, a life signal is sent with an interval of about 15 min.
