I ordered two of the switches. When the order arrived, one worked and one was defective, I returned the defective one for replacement. Your return system worked well, but I hate it when I'm sold defective products. As far as I'm concerned, the quality of the Smarthome brand X10 switch is questionable - half of the units I purchased were defective.

had to replace an older leviton. It only come in 3 wire switches -fortunately that's what I had to replace now. The code selection and set is tricky to do with older command modules and the switch doesn't have an on-off toggle.
