Essential Info
This advanced remote-controllable plug-in module allows you to add X10 control to your lamps and create customized lighting. Simply plug X10 Lamp Dimmer into a wall outlet and connect the desired lamp. Program an X10 address to X10 Lamp Dimmer in seconds and you'll be able to use an X10 controller to turn the connected device on and off. You'll be able to control lights and plug-in appliances from across the room, from the opposite end of the house, or even your driveway. With an X10 controller, you can set the lamp connected to X10 Lamp Dimmer to one of 32 brightness levels. You can also store a preset On-Level to customize your lighting to best fit your lifestyle needs. The On-Level is the brightness that the light will go to when you turn it on. Once the On-Level is programmed, the lamp will automatically go to the set On-Level when it is turned on from an X10 controller. On-Levels allow you to create ambience and atmosphere. Set a hallway lamp to turn on to 50% so you won't be blinded when you turn on the light to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Or set lamps in your living room to go very dim when it is movie time, without ever getting up from the couch. X10 Lamp Dimmer is designed to control incandescent loads, up to 150 Watts. If you need to control a fluorescent light fixture or other non-dimmable appliance, try the X10 Appliance Module.

Non-Volatile Memory
All settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost during power failures. Additionally, in the event of a power loss, it will return to its last brightness level when power is restored.
