Essential Info
This advanced remote-controllable plug-in module allows you to add X10 control to your lamps to create customized lighting and scenes. Simply plug X10 Appliance Module into a wall outlet and connect the desired plug-in device. Program an X10 address to X10 Appliance Module in seconds and you'll be able to use an X10 controller to turn the connected device on and off. You'll be able to control lights and plug-in appliances from across the room, from the opposite end of the house, or even your driveway. All settings are stored in non-volatile memory so no information will be lost in the event of a power failure. X10 Appliance Module is designed for on/off control of standard appliances, such as fans, fluorescent lights, and other non-dimmable appliances up to 400 Watts. If you need to control a dimmable lamp, try the X10 Lamp Dimmer, which offers brightness control as well as standard on/off control.
