The TrickleStrip reduces the amount of vampire/standby energy consumed by PC and TV accessories. The TrickleStrip has inbuilt current sensing circuitry with 2 different switching thresholds to sense when a control device is on, off, or standby and to then switch on / off switched outlets. The TrickleStrip is easy to install and provides simple automation to reduce wasteful standby energy consumption. This TrickleStrip also comes with coaxial cable surge protection. Instead of running a connection directly from your DSS receiver/TV/VCR/cable box to the wall jack, you can pass the connection through the protected F connectors on your TrickleStrip. Connect your incoming coaxial line to the input F connector on the surge protector, then connect a coaxial cable into the output F connector on the product, and then connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the input F connector of the device you want to protect.

Connect your TV to the control outlet and the receiver, cable box, and DVD player into the switched outlets. That way, when you turn on the TV, the TrickleStrip will turn on the receiver, cable box, and DVD player as well.

This product also available with Phone/Fax Protection, Phone/Fax/Data Protection, and a more basic version with controlled outlets only.
