Essential Info
The TrickleStrip reduces the amount of vampire/standby energy consumed by PC and TV accessories. The TrickleStrip has inbuilt current sensing circuitry with 2 different switching thresholds to sense when a control device is on or off and to then switch on / off selected outlets. The TrickleStrip is easy to install and provides simple automation to reduce wasteful standby energy consumption. This product comes equipped with RJ11/45 combo connectors for phone, fax or data. Instead of running a connection directly from your phone, fax, or data line to the wall jack, you can pass the connection through the protected jacks on the product. Connect your phone, fax, or data line from your wall outlet to the 'in' jack on the TrickleStrip, then connect a phone cord or network cord into the 'out' jack on the product and connect the other end of the phone cord to the phone, fax, or data jack of the device you want to protect. Connect your computer to the control outlet and the monitor and speakers into the switched outlet. That way, when you turn on the computer, the TrickleStrip will turn on the monitor and speakers as well. This product also available with Phone/Fax Protection, Coaxial Protection and a more basic version with controlled outlets only.
