The Vanco 280525 gives you the ability to place your television up to 100 feet away from whatever device you are using as a source. Your video device HDMI plugs into the wall plate transmitter unit, which is then connected to a wall plate receiver up to 100 feet away by a pait of CAT 5e/6 cables. The receiver then connects to your HDTV with an HDMI cable. The wall plates incorporate an IR repeater, allowing you to use the remote to control the source through the same cables used to extend the HDMI signal. Whether temporarily moving your television into another room or due to limitations with your home's setup, this device helps overcome the signal loss inherent to lengthy HDMI cable setups.
