If your home theater stereo receiver or amplifier only has composite RCA audio inputs, but your cable/satellite receiver, Blu-ray player or other component uses a more modern digital and optical audio output, this product is the solution. The Vanco 280512 Audio Converter allows you to connect a Coaxial Digital Audio Cable or Toslink Optical Audio Cable to the Input and connect an RCA Composite Audio Cable to the Output, so you can connect the audio of virtually any new component to your home theater system.

Installation:
Please make sure all devices you wish to connect have been turned off
Connect the audio source device to the Converter using appropriate Toslink or Coaxial cables.
Connect the A/V Receivers or Amplifiers to the Converter using appropriate RCA R/L stereo audio cable
Insert the DC side of 5v power supply into the converter and then connect the AC side of the power supply into the wall outlet
Note: When connected to the Toslink and Coaxial cables at the same time, the product will give priority to Toslink input.
