• Simple adapter for converting an RJ-45 connection to an RS-232 connection

The Vanco 272005 RJ-45 (Ethernet) Female to RS-232 (DB-9) Male Adapter converts any RS-232connector into an RJ-45 port or vice versa. Use this modular adaptor to connect smart terminals, PC's and telecom equipment to serial card or LAN. It is easy to assemble and has slotted thumbscrews to provide ease of installation. RJ45 RS-232 adapters are convenient for RS-232 connections - when you have a number of serial devices with different pin-outs, you can make adapters so that any device can easily be connected to another device. This universal adapter is particularly handy for devices such as hubs or controllers that only occasionally need to be connected to a terminal.

Please Note: This modular adapter comes unassambled and is not functional until it is assembled. There is no universal way to assemble the adapter since it depends on your application and device.
