Essential Info
The GWC Technology USB to 2 Port RS-422/485 is a converter that transform the USB port on your desktop or laptop computer into two asynchronous RS-422 or RS-485 serial ports. This unit supports RS422/485 Auto Detect & Switch technology so when there is defined activity on the connected serial device, the convert automatically switches to the active serial port.
Compatible with high speed USB specification 2.0, this device can transfer speeds up to 480Mbps. The FA1320 does not require any IRQ, DMA or I/O addressing resources. It features built-in 4k bytes FIFO buffers, 15KV DC ESD serial interface protection, and is powered by USB bus for low power consumption, no external power adapter is needed.
