Place the satellite speaker on a shelf or mount it on a wall using the included bracket, which allows you to aim the sound at your listening area. An optional floor stand is also available. The solid, extruded-aluminum enclosure is highly rigid to reduce unwanted resonance even at high listening levels. This speaker is Dolby Digital or DTS receiver compatible.
Four woofers at the top and bottom surround dual midrange drivers and an MMD-dome tweeter in the center. This driver uses Infinity's proprietary MMD cone, which conducts sound faster than paper, polypropylene and Kevlar®, pushing unwanted resonance beyond the operating range of the transducer. In addition, this speaker is magnetically shielded for safe placement adjacent to a television.
Also available is a complete Infinity TSS-4000 Home Cinema System, which includes two Infinity 3-way Satellite Speakers, a center channel, two Infinity 2-way Satellite Speakers and a 12-inch, 400-watt subwoofer (all also available to be purchased separately) that features the R.A.B.O.S.™ system, enabling you to identify the dominant low-frequency response characteristics of your listening room and giving you the tools necessary to optimize the low-frequency characteristics of the speakers to your room. This system is also available with a 10-inch, 150-watt subwoofer.
