The Infinity TSS-4000 Home Cinema System includes two front satellite speakers, a center channel, two rear satellite speakers and a 12-inch, 400-watt subwoofer that features the R.A.B.O.S.™ system, enabling you to identify the dominant low-frequency response characteristics of your listening room and giving you the tools necessary to optimize the low-frequency characteristics of the speakers to your room.

Flat-panel display technologies are bringing a new level of visual realism to today's home cinemas, and Infinity's TSS-4000 Home Cinema loudspeaker system is designed to complement the latest 30", 42" or 50"+ plasma, LCD and DLP television displays. Place the four included satellite speakers on shelves or mounted on a wall using the included brackets, which allow you to aim the sound at your listening area. Optional floor stands and in-wall recess kits are also available for the three-way satellite speakers, which also include three different height shelf stands, so matching these speakers to your television's height is easy. The solid, extruded-aluminum enclosures of the satellites and center channel speaker are highly rigid to reduce unwanted resonance even at high listening levels. All speakers are Dolby Digital or DTS receiver compatible.
The 400-watt TSS-4000 powered subwoofer features a 12-inch MMD® driver and Infinity's Room Adaptive Bass Optimization System™, which precisely tunes bass output to the acoustic characteristics of any room. As the quality of low bass is determined as much by the room as it is by the loudspeaker system, R.A.B.O.S. takes the all-important low frequencies to new depths. Due to their long wavelengths, low-frequency sounds reflect back and forth in a room, alternately reinforcing and subtracting selective frequencies. This room resonance can create exaggerated bass boom and/or diminished bass output, depending upon the listening position. The R.A.B.O.S. subwoofer system optimizes the bass to the listening room once it's in place. The R.A.B.O.S. system can be optimized in less than 30 minutes.
Four woofers at the top and bottom surround a pair of midrange drivers and an MMD-dome tweeter in the center. TSS-4000 drivers use Infinity's proprietary MMD cones throughout and are arrayed in a three-way design to maximize both frequency response and power handling. The MMD cone conducts sound faster than paper, polypropylene and Kevlar®, pushing unwanted resonance beyond the operating range of the transducer. In addition, these speakers are magnetically shielded for safe placement adjacent to a television.
Customizing the system to your unique requirements is easy. Add speakers wherever you want: Additional 2-way and 3-way satellite speakers, center speakers and subwoofers are available to be purchased separately. The TSS Home Cinema System is also available with a 10" 150-watt Subwoofer that does not feature the R.A.B.O.S. system.
