Infinity's patented Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragms (CMMD) reveal all of the nuances of today's music and film recordings by virtually eliminating unwanted resonance through a ceramic compound called alumina. Three times as stiff as titanium, alumina is deep anodized to an aluminum core to create a three-layer sandwich. CMMD adds bass impact to the Infinity 6.5-inch Round Ceiling Speaker and delivers open, detailed, and clean mid- and high frequencies. The speaker includes mounting clamps that swing out to grip your ceiling securely from the inside. Make your install easier with an Adjustable Speaker Hole Saw. Because it need not be mounted to a stud, this speaker can be placed for optimal sonic performance and installation ease.
The Infinity 6.5-inch Round Ceiling Speaker has an external diameter of 9 3/16", with a total weight of 3.1 pounds, ideal for ceiling mounting.
