These Motorola two-way radios have 22 channels, each of which has 99 interference eliminator codes for superior interference protection. You and your friends can select a channel and talk to each other whenever you need to get in touch. The radio will even detect your voice and transmit when you speak for hands-free operation. Choose from 10 different call tones that you can transmit to other radios in your group to alert them that you want to talk, and then end your communiqué with a talk confirmation tone.
These radios can tune in to broadcasts by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Weather Radio and Environment Canada Weatheradio to receive forecasts and other weather information at any time.
The Motorola T5950 Two-Way Radios feature QT noise filtering, which filters out unwanted transmissions from other radios, especially useful in places where there is heavy radio traffic, such as at an amusement park or ski resort. Also helpful in such an environment, these radios offer a vibrating alert that notifies you that your radio is receiving a message.
Additional features include a removable belt clip, adjustable volume, and an illuminated display, which makes it easy to read your settings in dark places.
The Motorola T5950 Two-Way Radios require 3 AA alkaline batteries or 1 NiCd rechargeable battery pack, sold separately. A charger is included.
