    The energy-efficient outdoor 120-Volt 60-LED 3.75-Inch Par30 Floodlight Bulb uses about 10 percent of the energy of a standard floodlight. Since it uses LEDs instead of standard filaments, this bulb never gets hot and uses only 6 watts of power. It's safer and more economical than halogen bulbs, making it ideal for floodlights and other light fixtures.

    Note: This bulb is non-dimmable.

    Still nowhere near bright enough for indoor use. Need to use brighter LED's or 90-LED combinations.

    These are great for outdoor lighting with snow on the ground. I use them at my remote cabin that has a battery bank/inverter. I used to use fluorescent lights, but they are slow to come on in the cold.

    This is a very exciting offer because there is no PAR CFL which has the same form factor as a halogen PAR 30 (The CFLs are too fat and too long and don't fit well in some Halo fixtures). Also the energy efficiency of the LED PAR30 is super: 8W as opposed to 50 or 75 for a Halogen, however the lumens are only 150 as opposed to 570 or 800 (Halogen/CFL), so the LED PAR30 is not suitable for all applications. However if you can live with the lower light level, the light is very clean and blue and the power consumption is very low. A great tool for your lighting kit!

    The bulbs came quickly but don't give as much light as I thought they would. I didn't have any contact with customer service so can't rate them.

    I really wanted to like this bulb but it's just not bright enough. I emits a very plesent blueish light but given it's current output it's not usable.

    The idea of LED lighting is so exciting that I wanted to try it, but these products really aren't ready for prime-time. Despite the fact that they are advertised as very bright and replacements for floodlights, they only throw about as much light as a 40 watt incandescent bulb. In addition, several of them arrive with multiple LEDs burned out or non-functional (in some cases almost 1/3 of them didn't work).

    emits a dull grey-blue colored light and is not as bright as the 75 watt Halogen bulbs they replaced.

    Great idea, however, too true of a blue-white light to allow a warm glow in the house. Needs a translucent filter that softens the light so a room does not look so sterile.
