This bulb is OK, but a bit dim (probably comparable to a 15w incandescent at best), and produces a very white light.
BRUCE -- las cruces, NM   1/5/2009
    Working fine!
    CHRISTOPHER -- wasilla, AK   12/11/2008
Great low wattage light for people using battery bank/inverter.
RIC -- hilton head island, SC   10/24/2008
Seems to me the light output equals to about a 25 watt light bulb. Other than that, no problems.
MICHAEL -- west chester, OH   7/3/2008
Use them outdoors to illuminate the walk in places where regular bulb were burning out easily.
    HAROLD -- cleveland, OH   12/16/2007
The bulb was not nearly as bright as I was led (no pun intended) to beleive. You should publish the lumens.
BARBARA -- south orange, NJ   11/16/2007
Too blue and dim. High price should have provided better product.
    ABNER -- toney, AL   9/15/2007
    Not enough lumins.
    Brian -- Chicago   3/1/2008
I bought one knowing it only produces 60 lumens. Works very well for me in my office closet (small space is well lit). Might seem expensive for a closet light, but remember the long view... over the life of this bulb, you''d need to buy like 60 incandescent bulbs (which alone justifies the cost). Then add in the energy savings as a bonus (hundreds of $ over the life of the bulb). Plus you''re promoting a market for this new technology. And, no mercury like the CFLs.
    Jenn -- ny,ny   11/13/2007
An incandescent 60 watt light bulb is about 800 lumens for comparison.
JOHN -- hazel green, AL   6/29/2007
    Worked great.
    WILLIAM -- plainview, NY   6/28/2007
Produces light comparable to a standard night light, very dim. Not good for primary lighting
KYLE -- new orleans, LA   6/28/2007
I like it. I admit I am definitely disappointed by the low light output, but I was forewarned about this, so it's not your fault or the manufacturer's. Besides the low lumen challenge, it's also the "type" of light output that is disappointing: glaring white. I know that is the nature of LED. Suggestion: a similar product, but with a "filter" that softens the light. Admittedly, it will sacrifice lumen, but if it were an option maybe?
    THOMAS J -- clark, NJ   6/23/2007
Frankly, this bulb is a lot dimmer than I expected. I'm still looking for the best application for it. When there is a reasonably priced equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent I'm back in the market.

    DOUGLAS -- acton, CA   5/25/2007
I bought the 36 LED light bulb to try it out. I ran it thru the Killawatt meter and it did not register any watt usage for a long time. I am now using the bulb for the porch light to save money.
    DANIEL -- clinton, NC   5/4/2007
Not as bright as a regular bulb, but two of them at 3watts each is about as bright as the 25watt bulb I was using in the bathroom. The buld does give off light that looks like natural light which is nice.
    gordon -- ptlnd, or   3/24/2007
Just wanted to agree with what another reviewer said: It would have been useful if the add had expressed the lumens in the equivalent incadescent power!
    Grayson Peddie -- tallahassee, FL 32310   3/20/2007
The light is okay, but it seems to blank/flicker (and slowly begins to flash) at above 75%, but below that, it stays still and behaves as an incandescent light bulb. By 0%, little bit of light is emitted from the light bulb. Compare the LED to incandescent, which the incandescent light bulb emits no light at 0%. I used it in Frosted Glass Torchiere floor lamp and it's plugged into Insteon LampLinc Dimmer module. I hope the technology will mature sometime soon.
    LOIS -- denver, CO   3/5/2007
Very nice. A little lighter and bluer than compact flourescents.
