Adding an FM antenna can help greatly, so be sure to select the best FM antenna for your needs. The FM Reflect Antenna will work with any portable or stereo receiver. This antenna incorporates a new dipole design for maximum gain across the entire FM broadcast band. Up to 213 percent more powerful than a standard dipole antenna, it covers the entire FM band with an almost flat response, where standard dipoles start to fall off near the end of the band.

Many FM stations now broadcast their signal with circular polarization. The FM Reflect Antenna is the only FM antenna that can be adjusted to take advantage of this. It is not affected as much by surrounding objects and people as other FM antennas are.

It is always difficult to compare antennas, because what works well with one station in one location may not work for another. I bought the FM Reflect because I am not able to mount a rooftop antenna and did not want to spend $100 for a fancier indoor antenna like the Magnum Dynalab, and had tried amplified antennas with very poor results. Mounted vertically, the FM Reflect works very well in my setup, and I consider it to be a very good buy at the price.

We live in a relatively obscure area with respect to FM reception. While this antenna improved the strongest of the stations, it did little for the weaker stations. I am fairly certain that this is a result of our location more than the fault of the antenna. Happy with what it did.
