On-Screen Program Guide — NEW
This new guide stores up to three days of programming information. Search the entire channel guide while viewing an active channel in the picture window. And with its accelerated 32-bit processor, you'll fly through menus quickly.

Viewing Suggestions — NEW
This new function offers a list of recommended programs based on the topic and theme category of programs you previously watched. You can even edit the topic and theme categories manually!

DIRECTV Interactive� powered by Wink Communications
An interactive television service that lets you use the enclosed remote control to access up-to-the-minute news, sports, financial information, weather, get program trivia, respond to free offers and shop, all while you watch TV.

On-Screen Caller ID Display Capability
View and store Caller ID information provided by your local phone company. You'll be able to view time and date of each incoming call, log up to 20 incoming calls sequentially and know who called while you were away.

One-Button Record
Records any program being viewed with the touch of one button. The receiver sends infrared commands to the VCR to execute the recordings at the proper time.

Information Guide
Lists five different channels of programming at a glance. You'll see details on the current highlighted program at the top of the screen, with an active channel in the picture window. Program information changes automatically as you navigate through the guide and highlight different programs.

16-Event Scheduler
Program your receiver to turn on, tune to a specific channel and turn off at a pre-set time.

• The Guardian� — Use this to lock out specific channels and set rating and spending limits. You can even differentiate the schedules between weekdays and weekends.
  
• Scout� —Use Scout to search the entire program guide to find matches to eight key words or phrases that you enter. Great for keeping track of your favorite movies, sports teams and actors!
  
• AlphaSort� —You'll be able to sort the current guide alphabetically, starting with any letter you choose. Go directly to any listed show with the push of one button or you can save directly as a Scout�.

System includes one Dolby Digital-compatible DIRECTV Receiver, a universal remote and an 18" dual LNB satellite dish and a mounting bracket. If you're an existing DIRECTV subscriber who wants to upgrade or expand, the receiver is also available separately.
