Essential Info
If you already have or plan to install SpeakerCraft TIME Mini 5.1 or 5.3 In-Ceiling Motorized Speakers for your surround sound system; you will need this TIME Mini Amplifier/Controller to operate them. The amplifier/controller is a dedicated unit that handles up to eight loudspeakers of a stereo, 5.1, 6.1, or 7.1 home theater systems. Connections for power and control are made with standard CAT-5 cable and RJ45 termination. The speakers themselves are powered by any amplification via standard speaker wire and then connects to the amplifier/controller via cat. 5 cable and RJ45 termination. This rack-mountable piece of equipment also double's as 150 watt subwoofer amplifier and comes with a handheld IR remote control. By using this amplifier/controller in conjunction with the TIME mini speakers, you will be the envy of all your friends making your speaker system descend and retract from your ceiling on command. Rack-Mounted Controller Details
Mount the SpeakerCraft TIME Mini Controller in your equipment rack, and you'll be able to activate your in-ceiling speakers at the same time as your A/V components. The SpeakerCraft TIME Mini Controller delivers your commands to your in-ceiling speakers, instructing each of these speakers to descend from the ceiling. This controller delivers its commands to up to eight speakers via cat. 5 cable.
IR Remote Control Included
The SpeakerCraft TIME Mini Amplifier/Controller fits in a single rack space and can send signals via IR, audio sense, & voltage trigger. This controller comes with a handheld remote control for easy use.
