Volume Controller Features Impedance MatchingThe SpeakerCraft Impedance-Matching Volume Control is loaded with high-end features. Its impedance-matching ability compensates for the impedance drop of using multiple sets of speakers in parallel. This feature essentially allows you to add more speakers without causing harm to the amplifier. And unlike other impedance-matching controls, you won't lose volume steps as the impedance feature is activated.
Smooth Volume TransitionsThis premium unit has 12-step make-before-break contacts, ensuring a smooth and even transition when changing volume settings. Plus, its 42dB volume range makes it easy to set listening levels for anything from formal dinners to wild parties. And unlike cheaper L-Pad controls, a built-in autoformer ensures that the speakers will never produce a scratching sound when adjusted.
Easy InstallationQuick-connecting terminals allow you to attach speaker wires without using a screwdriver. If you want to add additional sets of speakers, a front-mounted switch lets you make impedance-matching adjustments without the need to remove the controller from the wall.
