Maintain your source components in a single place while accessing and controlling them remotely from anywhere in the house. The SpeakerCraft EZ-Pad system is an expandable IR repeating system that uses an RS-485 communication protocol between the keypads and controller, letting users press buttons on an easy-to-read keypad to send commands to another room. The Master Keypad w/o IR Receiver can select sources, control component functions, repeat infrared signals and turn systems on or off. An EZ-Pad Controller is required for this system and is sold separately.

The Master Keypad w/o IR Receiver has a total of 13 buttons: Of the top 8 buttons, 7 can be programmed to be either source-select buttons or transport/function buttons. The lower 5 buttons can be programmed for any function except source select. Since keys are not preset at the factory, your installer can configure them for you on site, letting you decide which buttons and functions will best suit your needs. The most common buttons for sources, functions and transport controls are included with the Master Keypad w/o IR Receiver.

The source buttons on the Master Keypad will indicate, via different colors, which source is active and its power status. All buttons are backlit and can execute macros of any length.

The EZ-Pad system is designed to be expandable. Add a numeric keypad and/or a function keypad for control of source components. The Master Keypad is also available with a built-in IR receiver.
