A whole-house audio system enables you to have music in every room in your home, but often it's necessary to switch between the whole-house system and a local source, such as your television. Now you can control the switching between these two audio sources automatically without rising from your chair. The Speakercraft SL-One A/B Speaker Switch will play the source you want to hear, depending on which you make active. This switch requires an external 12V DC power supply, sold separately.

The SL-One permits one set of stereo speakers to be switched automatically between two stereo amplifiers, replacing manually operated A/B switches. This exclusive microprocessor-controlled system ensures precision timing and switching accuracy. Its dual relays handle music power levels up to 150 watts per channel, and isolated ground paths permit use of BTL amplifiers.
The SL-One's octal switch provides precision delays from 0.5 seconds to 5 minutes to handle virtually any music energy interval without false switching. This adjustment will accommodate a wide range of music-level conditions for the optimal switching threshold. Status LEDs indicate which amplifier is active, and a status output jack permits triggering of local devices.
A non-amplified line-level A/B switch is also available.
