Essential Info
If you use the SpeakerCraft EZ-Pad IR repeating system to control components remotely via keypad, you can add the option to mute your speakers locally in any connected room. The EPR-1.0 EZ-Pad Speaker Muting Relay module allows speakers in any room with an EZ-Pad Master Keypad to be connected to provide local muting. Speakers and the EZ-Pad system components are sold separately.

Programmable through the EZ-Tools software that comes with the Learn/Test Module, the EPR-1.0 EZ-Pad Speaker Muting Relay can handle up to 100 watts per channel. A button on the EZ-Pad is designated to be a toggled local room-muting key.
Install the EPR-1.0 EZ-Pad Speaker Muting Relay according to the instructions included with your EZ-Pad System. The module can be mounted to any flat surface using the mounting holes and the screws provided. The EPR-1.0 EZ-Pad Speaker Muting Relay accepts wire sizes 14 to 28 AWG for easy connection of the stereo amplifier speaker and in-room stereo speaker leads. The 12-inch 2-conductor relay coil lead connects to the +Relay and -Relay terminals on the back of the EZ-Pad. It can be extended to any length required.
