This IR Receiver features a circuit to reduce noise (IRI, CFL, EMI, or ESI) from non-IR sources so that stronger signals from IR remotes have adequate margin for command of the controlled component. Includes an IR lens that rejects visible light interference and an internal crosshatch shield that inhibits EMI/ESI Interference. Comes with a white faceplate, which can be painted to match any décor. A blue "activity" LED shows all IR signal activity on a hardwired IR circuit. Has a range of up to 35 feet (depending on the remote's strength) and a look angle of up to 100 degrees off axis. The SpeakerCraft SmartPath™ Junction Box IR Receiver works with remote control frequencies between 28 to 90 kHz. Features an EZ-Connect 4-terminal spring-loaded connector for quick connection to inter-room wiring. It is compatible with Xantech and Niles connecting blocks (using the ground, power, and IR out terminals).
