Control your audio and video components from anywhere in the house. Ideal for whole-house audio and video systems, the SmartPath Kit is an infrared repeating system that allows you to place IR receivers in any room. Point your existing remote at the receiver, and the SmartPath Kit will deliver your commands to your A/V components, regardless of their location in your home. The kit includes a surface-mount IR receiver, an amplified terminator, a power supply, and four IR emitters for controlling four components from one remote location. Numerous expansion accessories are available to customize your system.

Easy installation and configuration allow you to create a pathway of complete system control. Mount the IRC-2.1 Surface-Mount IR Receiver on a flat surface in furniture recesses, under shelves, etc., using the supplied double-sided tape. This IR receiver features ambient noise suppression as well as system status and an IR activity LED, and it can safely be placed near plasma screens. The IR receiver comes with stripped ends plus a 4-conductor terminal strip allowing interface connections to in-wall room-to-room wiring. This IR receiver sends your remote control's infrared commands to the connecting block, which distributes commands to the desired component.
The AT-1.0 Amplified Terminator Unit has an amplified circuit for driving standard emitters or high-powered blasters, and it may be cascaded for additional emitter output jacks to power all of your A/V components remotely through this IR repeater. Emitters connect through this terminal block. The PS-1.0 Regulated Power Supply also connects to the AT-1.0 Amplified Terminator Unit to power it as well as the IR emitters and receivers. The PS-1.0 Regulated Power Supply is a regulated 12V DC 200mAmp power supply. For larger systems, use the 12V DC 1.2A Regulated Power Supply instead.
Four IRE-1.0 Single IR Emitters are included with the IRC-3.0 SmartPath Kit to control four of your components. Each IR emitter is on an 8-foot lead, and an EZ-Docker holster holds the emitter in place on an audio or video component and allows quick removal when changing components for service.
This kit is also available with a shelf-top IR receiver. Additional components and accessories are also available, including extension cables for greater distance between IR receivers and their controlled components.
The AT-1.0 Amplified Terminator Block, 12-Volt DC 200mA Regulated Power Supply, IRE-3.0 IR Emitters, and IRC-2.1 Surface-Mount Mini IR Receiver are also available to be purchased separately.
