For basic drywall cutting, use SpeakerCraft Brackets. The 6-Inch Round InstaLLock New Construction Brackets' thin aluminum wings eliminate drywall bulge and can be stapled, screwed or nailed to studs. The SpeakerCraft Brackets span studs 16" on and off center, and 24" studs on center. InstaLLock™ wings fasten to bracket frames in a locking fashion that is secure and easy but also easily removable on the job site.
Specifically designed for in-ceiling applications, SpeakerCraft Custom Round Series (CRS) 6" Speakers (sold separately) are among the most affordable ways to integrate premium, SpeakerCraft equipment into your home audio system. The two-way in-ceiling speakers are equipped with improved high-density cone woofers and surrounds that increase bass response and power handling.
