But most outdoor speakers provide an unattractive, glaring glitch in the design of your outdoor décor. Speakercraft's Sub8 Rox speaker is a simulated rock that will blend seamlessly into your yard. Thanks to a new revolutionary process, the speaker remains completely unseen behind a grille that matches the Rox's surface and texture so closely, the speaker is nearly impossible to see. An amplifier is also included to get the best possible sound to the speaker. Speaker wire is required and sold separately. The Sub8 Rox enclosure is so durable, it can withstand rain, snow, hot sun and even swimming pool acids. The finish closely resembles a rock's natural finish, so no one will know it's actually a high-fidelity speaker.
The subwoofer is made from a special weatherproof nylon frame that stops the magnet from rusting. Rubber spiders in the polypropylene woofer keep water and moisture from entering the voice coil. Even the wires inside the speaker are coated with silicone rubber so they won't corrode.
The included BBXW10 250-watt powered amplifier features front-mounted volume control and rear-mounted low-pass crossover and phase control. Specifically designed to match the Sub8 Rox speakers, this subwoofer comes with rack ears for mounting in your equipment rack, if so desired. The specially tuned enclosure provides outstanding bass from very little input.
The Sub8 Rox speaker is also available in sand.
