For the ultimate in-ceiling speaker appearance and performance, SpeakerCraft has developed the No Edge Audio technology (NEAT!) line of products that offer a clean flangeless appearance while still offering the award winning pivoting AIM technology. The SpeakerCraft NEAT! 8 One In-Ceiling Speaker has no external flange which means the grill material will cover the baffle and drivers and leave no additional edge between the speaker and the wall surface. This true flush mount design offers the cleanest and most professional in-ceiling installation possible. Keeping sound quality in mind as well, the built-in AIM technology lets you experience optimal audiophile-quality sound from anywhere in the room as the woofer and tweeter easily pivot toward the listening area. So regardless of the speaker's placement with respect to your home theater system, it is flexible enough to focus sound wherever the layout or architecture of a room may require. You can further adjust the sound settings of this speaker with a conveniently placed front-mounted treble and bass switches. This speaker is ideal for the person who wants a powerful blend of an aesthetically pleasing appearance and high quality audio. Speaker Adjustments
Pivot the in-ceiling speaker's woofer and tweeter independently to the center of your listening area prior to attaching the grill.
Match Your Home Décor
When painting the speakers, the paint masks provided in the carton must be installed in place of the grille. When painting the grilles, great care should be taken not to clog the holes, as this will greatly reduce the sound quality of the speakers.
Pre-Wire
Prior to the actual installation of the speakers, it will be necessary to run cables to the speaker location from the amplifier. You will need to run at least 16 AWG speaker cable, sold separately from the amplifier to the speaker.
