The SpeakerCraft BassX Dual 6 floor standing subwoofer incorporates two long throw woofers, which deliver the deepest possible bass response, while utilizing the smallest cabinet possible. The subwoofer can easily connect to most any receiver or preamp via line level inputs. Each sub is equipped with a fixed high-pass crossover circuit to cut off the bass to the front (main) speakers so the upper bass will not overlap, thereby avoiding booming. An adjustable low level crossover allows you to make fine adjustments to the resulting sound. Built into a high density sealed cabinet, the perfect environment is created for deep, impactful bass.
Why have your subwoofer powered if you aren't using it?The Speakercraft BassX Dual 6 subwoofer has the ability to auto power on and off. With the ability to auto sense for audio signals throught it's inputs, your subwoofer will only be powered up when you are intending to use it.
High Pass and Low Pass Crossover NetworksThe nuances of your low level sound never sounded so good. With a built in high pass crossover set to 75Hz to avoid overlap and an adjustable low pass crossover ranging from 40Hz to 120Hz, the bass response is under your control.
Built in ControlsOn the reverse of the BassX subwoofer can be found controls for volume, low pass crossover frequency, bass boost and phase shielding giving you complete control of your bass characteristics.
Also available in a BassX Dual 8-inch version or with a single driver in a BassX 10-inch or BassX 12-inch version.
