From MP3s, CDs and Internet radio to DVDs, streaming video and games, you'll hear full, rich sound from tiny satellite speakers. These speakers are designed to sit upright on your desk or be mounted on your monitor with the supplied speaker brackets. The speakers are magnetically shielded to prevent interference when they are on or near your monitor. The Acoustimass module is designed to be the unseen part of the Companion 3 Speaker System. It can be placed under or behind furniture and contribute to the lifelike sound you hear from the speakers without being visible by adding low, resonant tones for intense music and gaming effects.
Intuitive and convenient, the multi-function control pod houses the system's volume control and also provides the connection site for a second audio source such as a CD player, MP3 player, or any other audio source.
The most impressive feature of the Companion 3 Speaker System is the quality of sound that only Bose can deliver. This system features compression circuitry and integrated signal processing, which provide clear, undistorted sound, even at high volumes. The active equalization feature electronically tunes the system's frequency response, enabling outstanding audio performance. TrueSpace® stereo signal processing provides a wide soundstage even when the speakers are close together.
