The sound of the ® 901 Direct/Reflecting® speakers expands well beyond the boundaries of the speaker enclosures. With your eyes closed, you might imagine where the musicians are playing on stage. It's almost as if you were transported out of your living room and into the concert hall.
The proper balance of sound is not just between the speakers, but throughout the listening area. Even if you listen directly in front of one speaker, you still hear true stereo sound. That means the sound is equally enjoyable from almost everywhere in the room, just like at a concert hall. This Direct/Reflecting® speaker technology not only comes as close as possible to re-creating the musical experience of the concert hall, it also enhances your enjoyment of TV and videos. Whether you're listening to music or your favorite sports, movies and TV shows.
These speakers are constructed with nine precisely-positioned full-range drivers that re-create the desired balance of 89% reflected and 11% direct sound. They're also designed to handle high temperatures for increased reliability. Other features include an Acoustic Matrix™ speaker enclosure. This structure isolates nine drivers and controls internal air flows of up to 60 mph. The result is impressive bass with no audible distortion.
Comes with a required, dedicated equalizer, which electronically balances output of all frequencies for an amazing degree of tonal balance and clarity throughout the musical spectrum.
