If you have the Bose Lifestyle 38, or Lifestyle 48 home entertainment system set up in your home, you can bring music to an additional area of your home using the Bose SA-3 Lifestyle Stereo Amplifier. Whether you're connecting a second bedroom or your outdoor patio, the Bose SA-3 Lifestyle Stereo Amplifier will extend your Lifestyle system's benefits to a second listening area by connecting directly to Bose non-powered speakers. And if you want Bose sound from a TV or separate CD player in the second area, you can add these sources through the SA-3 amplifier's auxiliary input. Each Lifestyle system will support up to 14 Bose SA-3 Lifestyle Stereo Amplifiers.

Easy Installation & Direct Speaker ConnectionThe Bose SA-3 Lifestyle Stereo Amplifier is easy to install, and it's small enough to be hidden easily on the floor or on a shelf. You can even mount it to a wall or a floor joist. Use the amplifier to supply the extra power recommended for high-performance Bose speakers including: Bose 251® environmental speakers, FreeSpace® 51 environmental speakers, Acoustimass® 5 speakers, or 301® Direct/Reflecting® speakers.
Amplifier FeaturesSet the Bose SA-3 Lifestyle Stereo Amplifier's output to stereo or mono. The mono output mode feeds left- and right-channel audio to both the left and right outputs, useful in situations where a stereo output isn't feasible, such as when outdoor speakers are used in a large area. Bose proprietary Integrated Signal Processing technology provides full, rich stereo sound, even when the speakers are playing at low volumes. Additional features include automatic detection of a local source: When a source is connected to the AUX INPUT jacks, you can set the amplifier to detect when that source is turned on, thereby automatically switching the amplifier from standby to on.
