The media center has a built-in AM/FM tuner, DVD player and CD player. The DVD player upscales video output to 1080p resolution with an HDMI output. The Gemstone speakers and Acoustimass module are compact and easy to place, offering a superior surround sound experience without the need to run additional speakers as is necessary with other 5.1 and 7.2 systems. The TrueSpace® digital processing offers crisp, clear audio from DVDs, CDs and television programming. For the ultimate in audio and video performance in a compact, space-saving design, look no further than the Bose 3-2-1 GS Series III DVD Home Entertainment System. This product is also available in silver or with the uMusic® storage and intelligent playback system in graphite and silver, all sold separately. Acoustimass module
This Bose breakthrough works in concert with the small speakers to deliver a fuller range of theater sound and effects. When the module is placed behind a curtain or chair, all of the sound seems to come directly from an expansive soundstage.

Simplified setup
