Mount this indoor video surveillance camera on the wall or ceiling using the included mounting materials. Connect the camera to your router using an Ethernet cable (sold separately). The Plug & Play, 21x Zoom, Pan/Tilt Camera comes with a built-in Web server with IP address, which can track the camera automatically. To view the camera's images on a PC, simply open a browser window and type in the camera's specified Internet address. The free viewnetcam.com service allows you to create a personal Web address for your camera's live image. Program a user name and password for security; up to 30 users can access the surveillance video simultaneously.
You can view camera images on a TV or record them using any video recording device. Set the camera to record video at certain times and at certain speeds. Thanks to its built-in motion detection feature, you can program the camera to email you or record upon sensed motion. All control and email software is already inside the camera, so it can be set up to send you an alert via email or FTP.
Using a standard browser, video display, or even a compatible cell phone or PDA, you can control the camera's movement. Pan left and right 350º and tilt up and down 220º. Up to 23 pre-determined positions can be registered in advance, so you can aim the camera exactly where you want it. You can also zoom in and out up to 12 steps to view faraway object.
