2.4GHz FHSS Digital Operation
The base unit and cordless handsets communicate in both directions using 2.4 GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) transmission. FHSS technology improves calling range and clarity, and eliminates cross talk. Because it rapidly changes transmission frequencies within the 2.4 GHz bandwidth, this cordless system helps reduce the possibility of eavesdropping.

All-Digital Voice Mail System With Auto Attendant
Panasonic's convenient, reliable, all-digital voice mail includes many advanced features you'd only expect from more expensive systems, including:

• Mailboxes — There is a general delivery mailbox on the base unit, plus one individual mailbox for each additional handset. Each user can record a personal greeting in his/her mailbox, and can access it from any system handset or an outside line.
  
• Auto Attendant — Eliminates the need for a receptionist in your office, and also prevents messages from getting lost at home. You can set the voice mail system to automatically answer all incoming calls with a recorded greeting, and to route callers to their desired extension or mailbox.
  
• Simultaneous Voice Mail Operation — The phone's internal circuitry allows up to four people to access voice mail at once. Many other cordless systems' answering devices only permit a single voice path, which gives any other user attempting to retrieve voice mail an annoying busy signal.
  
• 100-Minute Recording Time— In long recording mode, the phone system has a recording time capacity up to 100 minutes.
  
• Auto Message Delete — Messages left in a mailbox for longer than 30 days will be automatically deleted, ensuring that your system will always have sufficient recording time.

This Caller ID feature stores up to 50 names on the base unit (up to 30 names on each handset), with direct callback capability. This feature requires a subscription to Caller ID service from your telephone service provider.

Caller ID Pager Call
Thanks to Caller ID pager call, you can program the phone to notify your pager when you've received an incoming call, and to forward the Caller ID data to your pager's display. This feature requires a subscription to Caller ID service from your telephone service provider.

2-Way Intercom/Paging
Call any other extension in the system from the base unit or a handset, or page the entire group from the base unit with the touch of a button.

Voice Mail Message Waiting Indicator
The base of your multi-handset cordless phone has a light that illuminates to let you know that you have new messages in your mailbox. For added convenience, the LCD on the phone's handset will also display a new message icon.

3-Line Multi-Function Backlit LCD Screen
The backlit display on both the base unit and handset clearly display caller ID data without scrolling. The LCD also features six icons that show operating status including the phone lines in use.

Phone Directory and Dialer
Store up to 50 frequently called numbers on the base unit (up to 30 on each handset) in an alphabetical directory.

High-Capacity Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) Battery

Battery Backup System
