But by adding this Extra Handset, you'll be able to maintain a second (or third or fourth!) cordless phone handset in another room of your home, without adding any additional phone jacks.

Each of the handsets used in this system can page the others, so you'll be able to talk to anyone in your house from any of these phones. The phones use 5.8 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, so they operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology used by most cordless phones while maintaining voice-scrambling digital security, incredible clarity and long range. 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi.
The handsets double as speakerphones, so you can put your phone down when you're on hold or working in the kitchen with both hands. The tip of the antenna lights up red to alert you to an incoming call or a waiting message, so you can turn off the ringer, let the kids sleep, and never miss a call.
Choose from any of the three ring tones or four melodies, or download a ringer melody. Additional features include a headset jack, hold/flash/redial, and a handset locator. View Caller ID information from the three-line LCD on the handset or hear it through the Talking Caller ID feature from across the room.
Caller ID, Call Waiting, and Call Waiting ID are all services provided by your phone company for a fee.
