Portable radios and CD players are convenient, but why not invest in a system that does more than play your old CDs and the few local channels you can access? The Delphi CD Audio System delivers multiple audio playback options, including XM Satellite Radio through the Delphi SkyFi XM Receiver (sold separately). You can also enjoy compact disc playback (including CDs playing MP3 files) and AM/FM radio. The Delphi CD Audio System comes with a 12-volt A/C power adaptor, but it can also be run on six D batteries (sold separately) if you prefer to take the unit along to the beach, camping or just to the back yard. XM radio subscription service is required for using the SkyFi2.

XM satellite radio service offers over 130 digital channels of sheer variety: music, sports, talk, comedy, drama, news, traffic and weather, kids programming, and more. All 68 XM music channels are 100 percent commercial-free, and XM's 21 instant traffic and weather channels provide the most comprehensive, in-depth information on traffic incidents, delays, and road conditions available on radio. The SkyFi2 can store up to 30 of your favorite channels as presets and will even replay songs and programming for up to 30 minutes!

The XM antenna that comes with your Delphi CD Audio System is a high-gain antenna that can receive XM's signal from XM's satellites and/or, depending on where you live, XM's land-based repeaters. The antenna comes with 10 feet of cable.

The Delphi CD Audio System can play CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs recorded in Compact Disc Digital Audio (CD-DA) format, as well as MP3 files recorded in CDROM format. Program the playing order of up to 30 CD/MP3 tracks or MP3 directories. Tracks can also be repeated, played in order or at random. ID3 information (song title, artist name, and album name) can be displayed for CD/MP3 files created with this information.

Set up to 18 FM and 12 AM preset stations on the Delphi CD Audio System. You'll have easy access to all of your favorite stations. The Delphi CD Audio System's built-in clock also serves as an alarm clock that can wake you to a satellite radio station or CD track. Hit snooze to sleep a little longer. Additional features include a headphone jack that will accommodate any standard 3.5mm diameter stereo jack (headphones sold separately).
