The system also offers HDMI Active Intelligence for easy switching between components and Sony's Digital MEDIA Port (DMP) interface. Play and control your favorite stored music seamlessly from your home theater system. Connect optional accessories to play back music from Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, networked computers or select iPod or Network Walkman Digital music players. In addition, the Portable Audio Enhancer integrates your portable music into a traditional home theater system with a simple stereo mini plug, while providing enhanced audio quality. The A/V receiver's HDMI interface transmits both audio and video while offering 1080p1 and LPCM support through a single cable (sold separately).
Key FeaturesBRAVIA Theatre Sync: As a leader in products with HDMI connectivity, Sony has created BRAVIA Theatre Sync technology to go beyond simple audio and video transmission. When combined with a select number of BRAVIA LCD televisions and other Sony audio and video products, control functions will also be transmitted via the HDMI cable (sold separately). With "One Touch Play," operations that took several steps have been reduced to one. Press the PLAY button on the remote, watch the audio and/or the video component(s) turn on, then the BRAVIA television will turn on and switch to the correct video input.
Digital MEDIA Port: Play and control your favorite stored music seamlessly from your home theater system. Connect DMP accessories to play back music from Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, networked computers or select iPod or Network Walkman Digital music players (optional accessories sold separately). The DMP accessories include a PC Client Ready device (TDM-NC1), Bluetooth receiver (TDM-BT1) and Docking Stations compatible with select Network Walkman players (TDM-NW1) and iPod products (TDM-iP1).
HDMI "Active Intelligence": The receiver detects and receives the best possible video and audio signals from all connected devices; making connection and performance as simple as plugging in a single wire. Sony's HDMI "Active Intelligence" produces both audio and video through one HDMI cable (sold separately).
Digital Cinema Auto Calibration: Connect the microphone and push a single button, the speakers are automatically adjusted to your favorite listening position.
