iPod CompatibilityCompatible with 1st and 2nd Generation Nano, 5th Generation Video, 4th Generation Color, 4th Generation or 1st Generation Mini iPod models. The included remote controls all the play functions of your iPod, so you can crank up the volume or change tunes from across the room. The iPod charges whenever it's placed on the docking connector, whether it's playing or not. And if you have a different model iPod, you can still play your music via the Line-In input (the remote will not control the iPod or other device when using Line-In).
Advanced DesignSony's intelligent design gives you a compact desktop unit, because it hides the power supply in the separate subwoofer unit. Since its ability to perceive the direction of audio signals is accurate really just for higher frequencies, you can hide the sub out of view and still enjoy its rich bass. Sony's S-Master digital power amplifier technology gives the Cradle Audio System for iPod a full, rich sound quality that is unique to Sony.
