Trouble Shooting
Setting time:
Go to your computer and open your Microsoft Word software. Edit a text file, the format is "20100806153000" (First 4 digits for the year, following 2 digits for the month, 2 digits for the day, and others for hour, minute and second), and then save the file (text format) in your PC’s document folder with the file name "time.txt". ((Note: You can also save the "time.txt" file from your PC to the Pen Cam folder directly).
Connect the Pen Cam to your computer, open the Pen Cam folder when the window box pops up from your PC screen, copy the "time.txt" file from your PC’s folder and paste it into the Pen Cam folder.
Disconnect the Pen Cam from your computer and it is ready to be used.
Setting video resolution:
Go to your computer and open your Microsoft Word software. Edit a text file with file name "framesize.txt" and type in one of the following 3 digits (0 or 1 or 2) and save it in text format with file name "framesize.txt".
Note: Each digit stands for different video resolutions: 0 for 1280x720; 1 for 640x480; 2 for 352x288;
Connect the Pen Cam to your computer, open the Pen Cam folder when the window box pops up from your PC screen, copy the "framesize.txt" file from your PC’s folder and paste it into the Pen Cam folder.
Disconnect the Pen Cam from your computer and it is ready to be used.
