If you have a Wireless Extender System for PCS Phones (sold separately) installed in your home to improve reception for your 1900 MHz PCS-based phones but find you still need additional bars for usable service, installing an upgraded outdoor antenna should suffice. Ideal for homes in rural or remote areas that may not be able to obtain a strong PCS signal, the Wireless Extender PCS Outdoor Antenna provides additional coverage by boosting the outside signal strength in the direction the antenna is pointed. The Wireless Extender PCS Outdoor Antenna provides 13dBi of gain to strengthen the signal.

Mount the Wireless Extender PCS Outdoor Antenna outside, pointing toward the closest signal tower and connect the antenna to your Wireless Extender System for PCS Phones using the included cable and connectors. This high-gain antenna will allow your system to operate at the maximum legal limit of output power allowed by the FCC. Protect your outdoor antenna as well as your Wireless Extender System with the Wireless Extenders Grounding Kit, which eliminates the risk of power surges' reaching your expensive components.
To extend your signal boosting to another room or area in your home, add a Wireless Extender PCS Indoor Antenna. This outdoor antenna is designed specifically for use with 1900 MHz PCS-based phones only; contact your service provider or dial 611 from your cell phone to verify that the 1900 MHz band is supported in your area. If you're on an 850 MHz-based cell phone, use the Wireless Extender Outdoor Antenna for Cell Phones to boost the signal for a Wireless Extender System for CEL Phones instead; NEXTEL and iDEN phones are not supported at this time.
