The Wireless Extender zBoost Vehicle Cell Phone Signal Amplifier has everything you need to create a cellular zone for multiple users in your vehicle with enhanced cell phone reception, function and decreases dropped calls. This cell phone amplifier is dual band (800 MHZ and 1900 MHZ), which means it is compatible with all of the cellular networks (except iDEN and Nextel). The dual band unit captures the signal outside of your car and amplifies it on the inside for a better signal. It improves standard CDMA and GSM voice signals, and also EVDO, HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE data transfers and will even extend the life of your cell phone battery. The increased signal will help to ensure that you will receive all those important calls and emails being sent to your cell phone. The kit includes everything you will need: a bi-directional amplifier unit housed in a sturdy, lightweight ABS plastic enclosure that can be located under the seat or in the front console, a magnetic antenna designed to mount easily on the metal roof of your vehicle, an internal patch antenna that relays the outside signal directly to your phone via a 15 foot cable passed inside through the trunk or door seal to connect the antenna and amplifier, and it is all powered by a 12V cigarette lighter adapter (CLA). It also works with your smartphone, PDA and wireless data card. The best part is that your phone stays wireless, there is no direct wiring, so multiple users can enjoy the added benefits of this signal amplifier.
