The distinguished steel silver appearance is offset by a large 3", 800 x 480 pixel VGA touch screen with an arc slider design that exposes a full QWERTY keyboard. You can enjoy easy access and navigation to numerous phone, internet and multimedia experiences via the desktop panel display, all from the tip of your finger. There is built-in 3.2 megapixel camera with screen viewfinder, dedicated menus and direct interaction with in-phone imaging and messaging features and the ability to take video for video calls and capturing life's greatest moments. With nearly 400MB of storage, you can also take your favorite music with you. The XPERIA operates over a 3G HSDPA mobile network that is always on. Operating at a broadband internet speed, you can surf the web, check email, text message, receive navigation, take video calls and stream audio and video anywhere in the world; and for a fast Internet connection in hotspots, the smart phone also has Wi-Fi support. Navigation can be done with your finger or with a stylus on the touchpad interface (which also has handwriting recognition) or by using the keyboard and 4-way key and optional joystick. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1A Smart Phone has everything you need to enjoy seamless access to the information and applications of your choice for personal and professional use.

Have it your way. On your phone desktop, you have room for nine panels. Just touch the one you want to use. Remove, replace and add new panels whenever you want.
