This interactive electrical circuit building and learning kit will prepare adults and children (ages 8 and over) to learn how electricity and electrical currents affect basic everyday surroundings. It is an ideal teaching and learning tool for exposing and educating people on the relationship between power, electronic circuits and switches. The Electricity Kit™ is a Learning Mates™ product that guides the user through the design and build of various circuits that will generate light, movement and sound. A colorful instruction booklet with diagrams and illustrations is included to make experimenting with electricity fun and easy to do.

Hands On Research
In testing the Electricity Kit, I was particularly looking for ease of use and safety as this product is designed as a learning tool for anyone over the age of 8. All of the items are color coded and each of the pieces fit together in a plug-in fashion. The project manual takes you from turning on a light, a fan and a speaker, to eventually controlling them in combination and with switches. With the use of the included project manual, building complete circuits was even easier than I expected. As for safety, there are clear instructions at the front of the project manual to maintain a safe working environment; and with the kit being powered by only two AA batteries, there is a minimal amount of current exposed.
