The Digital Breath Alcohol Detector meets Department of Transportation (DOT)/National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) standards as a breath alcohol screener and has FDA-510k pre-market notification. A professional-grade alcohol screener, the Digital Breath Alcohol Detector utilizes a state-of-the-art semiconductor sensor to test breath alcohol content quickly and accurately. The simple one-button operation provides a digital reading in seconds. The Digital Breath Alcohol Detector also features an integrated temperature check for enhanced accuracy as well as an air-flow sensor to monitor if a sufficient air volume is exhaled while testing.
If it's not necessarily convenient to bring along the Digital Breath Alcohol Detector, a smaller, slimmer version is also available. This purse-sized unit does not feature the temperature gauge and only displays two digits on its LCD screen.
