Fast, Easy Set-Up
The TekPlate Backup Light Switchplate replaces the switch cover plates in your home. Because each unit runs on 4 AA batteries and contains a sensor that detects the loss of power, installation is fast and easy. There are absolutely no wires to connect. Batteries will power the TekPlate Back Light Switchplate for up to 48 hours at a time. A low-battery indicator will let you know when batteries need to be replaced. Batteries sold separately.
Automatically-Activated
Once you install TekPlate, you can sit back and relax, knowing that you are well prepared for a power blackout. TekPlate electrostatic sensors will immediately activate the amber LEDs in its cover plate when the power fails. Your TekPlate will produce enough light to illuminate an average size room for hours.
